About
The overall aim of a Civil Engineering Final Year Design Project (FYDP) is to provide students with a culminating experience where they apply their accumulated knowledge and skills to solve a complex, real-world engineering problem, while considering public health, safety, and environmental impact. The specific objectives are centered on the practical application of design principles, problem-solving, and professional skill development.
Course Detail
FYDP is offered in the 7th semester of the Civil Engineering programme as a total 6-credit-hour course, which continues till the end of the 8th semester, i.e. 3-credit-hour per semester.
The course details are as follows:
CE-409 Civil Engineering Design Project-I (7th semester course of 3 credit-hours)
CE-409 Civil Engineering Design Project-II (8th semester course of 3 credit-hours)
