Through the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), ASURE Centre received a PKR 385 million grant, which provided the foundation for establishing advanced testing laboratories for PV modules, inverters, batteries, and energy efficiency. This funding enabled us to acquire world-class equipment, develop specialized infrastructure, and launch capacity-building initiatives.
World Bank – Sindh Solar Energy Project (SSEP)
Under the World Bank–funded Sindh Solar Energy Project (SSEP), ASURE Centre secured USD 700,000 million to deliver specialized testing, training, and technical support. This project has enhanced our role as a third-party testing and advisory body, ensuring solar installations across Sindh meet international quality and safety standards.
Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) Funded Project – Energy Smart Switch (ES2)
Secured a competitive PKR 1.6 million grant from SHEC to develop and commercialize the Energy Smart Switch (ES2), an innovative solution for efficient energy management. The project included design, prototyping, and pilot deployment, and has contributed to advancing local research and commercialization in smart grid and demand-side management technologies.
