Biography

Engr. Ayesha Akram completed her Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering, focusing on finite element modelling of dry precast connections. She has previously worked as a Junior Structural Engineer and Research Assistant at CAHSBE. Her research spans structural retrofitting, precast systems and advanced materials such as textile-reinforced mortar and fibre-reinforced polymers. She has coordinated national workshops, model home projects, and served on organizing committees for the International Civil Engineering Conference. Ayesha supervises final-year design projects and supports student-led experimental studies. Committed to continuous learning, she strives to advance earthquake-resilient infrastructure through collaborative research and mentoring. Her current publications explore concrete–TRM interfaces and precast connection behaviour, reflecting her goal to deliver practical solutions. She is eager to pursue doctoral studies in structural resilience and contribute to global academic networks.
